The State of California recognizes schools each year that teach and promote civic learning in their schools. I am proud to announce that our school received the Civic Learning Award of Merit for 2018.
NLM Virtual Calming Room is for students, families and staff in our Norwalk and La Mirada Communities to find tools for resilience and wellness.

Nuffer Elementary STEAM Academy
Starting the 2018-2019 school year our school will become Nuffer Elementary STEAM Academy. This name addition just shows our focus and dedication to STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts Math) education.

Until we get our new permanent shelter we have 16 new tables with umbrellas.
