School rules
PHILOSOPHY-- The Nuffer School Community values courteous, respectful people and is in agreement with the Board of Education’s expressed desire to foster universal values such as honesty, responsibility, respectfulness, compassion, cooperation, perseverance, courage, and civil duty. We also firmly embrace the guiding principals of Project G.L.A.D. - - make good decisions, solve problems, and show respect. Students can make good decisions, solve problems in a positive manner, and show respect by treating others as you want to be treated:
INCENTIVES - - WE BELIEVE IN RECOGNIZING GOOD BEHAVIOR Most Nuffer students are very well behaved. When students choose NOT to make good decisions, NOT to solve problems positively, or NOT to show he/she will be sent to speak with the principal and the principal may issue an office referral. All office referrals will be mailed home. Students with 3 referrals must meet with the parent and the principal. Students with 10 referrals will be referred to District Guidance for possible reassignment to another school or other intervention. |
